This year's tournament will be played on January 26-27, 2008. The Showcase of the South is geared to provide club teams a showcase environment in which college coaches from all over the country can view future college bound players. The showcase will be held at Burns Park (site of the 2008 National Finals), one of the premier venues in the South. The beautiful setting, combined with quality teams from all over the South and Midwest, will provide a great environment for players to showcase their talents. The Showcase of the South will serve as a great tool for college prospects to be seen and recruited by college coaches. Over 700 college coaches from all levels will be invited to participate in this premier event. You may register and submit your application on-line. Payment may be made by check or by using a major credit card through Google Checkout. Once submitted you will receive confirmation that your application has been received. The confirmation does not guarantee acceptance into the tournament. You will be notified acceptance by Janaury 15, 2008. Registrations are accepted on-line only. The Fever 5 Futbol tournament is small-sided soccer game played on modified fields. All teams competing in the Fever 5 Futbol Tournament will include no more than 7 teams members on their roster, 4 field players, one goalie and 2 substitutes. Each team will have the option to play in the recreational or competitive brackets in order to maximize competition.
