Copa ESPN has become one of Dallas-Ft Worth's most talked about youth soccer tournament. The tournament will again be played over three days, with more than 10,000 players and spectators expected over the weekend. COPA ESPN will again feature the area's best recreational and select teams chosen from an open application process. The invitation-only "Copa ESPN 2012" will consist of 72 teams with more than 1,000 players and six age categories (under eight, 10, 12, 14, 16 and 18).
Copa ESPN will send the championship team from the U14 category, to compete in Orlando, Fla. for the Disney Cup International July 16-21.
